How Do You Move Your Virtual Tours Off Aryeo?
You cannot move the hosted Aryeo property sites or their URLs — those stay on Aryeo and stop working when the account closes — but your original photos are yours. Download everything from Aryeo's Download Center first, re-host the listings that are still active on a new tour host, swap the unbranded link in the MLS virtual-tour field, and keep the Aryeo account alive until the active listings have moved.
Aryeo is a capable platform, and plenty of photographers are happy on it. But Zillow has owned Aryeo since 2023, the Pro tiers are a monthly subscription ($49–$179/mo), and some photographers would rather their delivery tool not be owned by the largest listing portal. If you have decided to leave, the move is less work than it looks — as long as you do the steps in the right order. This guide is the how-to; for the broader question of where to go, see our rundown of Aryeo alternatives for photographers.
What can you actually move, and what can't you?
Draw the line clearly before you start, because it decides everything else:
- Moves with you: your original media — the edited photos, the video, and any floor plans you delivered. That content is yours.
- Stays on Aryeo: the property sites and delivery pages you built, and every Aryeo URL that points at them. You cannot export a hosted page to another host; you rebuild it there from the media.
That second point is the one that bites. If an agent put an Aryeo property-site URL in a listing's MLS virtual-tour field, that link lives on Aryeo's servers. When the account closes or the page comes down, the link dies — and so does the tour in the MLS, in the flyer, and anywhere else the agent pasted it. This is the same link-breakage that happens with any host; our guide to what happens to your tours if your host shuts down covers why old links die and when a redirect can save one.
How do you export your media from Aryeo before you lose access?
Do this first, before you change a single billing setting. Aryeo's Download Center collects a listing's full set of content — images, video, 3D tours, floor plans — on one page, and a listing downloads in a click. A few practical notes:
- Photos are offered in Web / MLS quality and Print quality. Pull the print-quality set if you want the full-resolution originals; the web set alone is fine if you only ever delivered web-sized images.
- Work through your listings by recency. The active ones matter most; the closed ones you may not need at all.
- Save the downloads into your own organized archive — by address or MLS number — the way you would any delivered job. This is also just good backup hygiene regardless of the move.
Once the media you care about is safely on your own drive, the rest of the move is reversible and low-stakes. Until then, it is not — so treat the export as the real first step, not a formality.
What happens when you cancel Aryeo or drop to Lite?
You have two off-ramps, and they are not the same. Downgrading from Pro to the free Lite plan keeps media delivery and Zillow Showcase uploads but drops the Pro tools — scheduling, invoicing, reporting, the marketing center. Fully canceling ends your access to the account. And if you bought a custom domain through Aryeo for a property site, Aryeo's help center (checked October 2026) says it runs one year and the site stops working at that address unless the domain is renewed, so a tour on its own domain is not permanent either. The safe sequence is always the same — export everything first, confirm it is on your drive, and only then change the plan.
Which listings are worth re-hosting?
Not all of them. Re-hosting is a few minutes of upload per listing, so spend that time where it pays off:
- Active listings — re-host these. They are still being marketed, the tour link is still in use, and a dead link hurts your client now.
- Pending or recently closed — usually not worth it. The marketing window is closing or closed; keep the originals archived and move on.
- Portfolio favorites — re-host a handful you want live as work samples, regardless of status.
You do not have to migrate your whole back catalog. Moving the active listings and archiving the media for the rest is the realistic version of "moving off Aryeo."
How do you swap the MLS, flyer, and website links?
For each active listing you re-host, the new tour gives you a fresh pair of links. Put them where the old Aryeo links were:
- The unbranded link goes in the MLS listing's virtual-tour field — the one the MLS requires. If you are fuzzy on which link is which, our guide to branded vs. unbranded tour links lays it out.
- The branded link replaces the old one on the agent's website, email signature, social posts, and any flyer QR code.
The agent usually has to update the MLS field themselves, so send them the new unbranded link with a one-line note — "replacing the old tour link for this listing." Most agents will not blink. The old Aryeo link keeps working while the account is open, which gives you a short grace period to get the swap done rather than a hard cutover.
What about Zillow Showcase?
This is the one genuine complication. Aryeo is the only uploader for Zillow Showcase listings, so if your agents buy Showcase, that media is delivered through Aryeo and there is no other pipe. Leaving Aryeo for your everyday tour hosting does not change that — a Showcase listing an agent already bought still lives on Zillow. What it means practically: if Showcase is part of what you sell, either keep a free Lite account open just for those deliveries, or be clear with those agents about who handles that piece going forward. Your ordinary branded and unbranded photo tours carry no such dependency and move wherever you like.
How do you make the next move easier?
The lesson of any migration is that hosted links are only as durable as the host. You can blunt that next time by hosting tours on your own domain, so the address in the link is yours even if the platform underneath it changes — see white-label tours on your own domain. It is not a magic shield: an old link survives a move only if the new host serves the same path or you set up a redirect. But owning the domain puts that choice in your hands instead of the platform's. And if you are weighing the ongoing cost of wherever you land, the hosting cost by listing volume breakdown runs the monthly numbers. The same playbook applies to any host you leave; we wrote the companion version for moving off TourBuzz too.

Frequently asked questions
Can you move your hosted tours and their links off Aryeo?
Not the hosted pages themselves. The property sites and delivery pages you built in Aryeo, and the Aryeo URLs that point at them, stay on Aryeo and stop working when the account closes. What you do keep is your original media — the photos, video, and floor plans you delivered. To move a tour you download that media, re-host the listing on your new platform, and update wherever the old Aryeo link was published.
How do you download your media from Aryeo?
Use the Download Center. Aryeo puts all of a listing's content — images, video, 3D tours, floor plans — on one page, and a listing downloads in a click. Photos come in Web / MLS quality and Print quality; grab both if you want the full-resolution originals, not just the web-sized set. Do this for every listing you care about before you cancel, because a canceled account can take your access to that media with it.
What happens to your Aryeo tours if you cancel or downgrade?
Downgrading from Pro to the free Lite plan keeps media delivery and Zillow Showcase uploads but drops the Pro tools (scheduling, invoicing, reporting). A custom domain bought through Aryeo for a property site runs one year and stops working at that address unless it is renewed. Fully canceling ends your access, so export everything you want to keep first — treat the download as the thing you do before you touch the billing.
Does Aryeo's Zillow connection follow your listings after you leave?
Your day-to-day tour hosting moves freely — nothing ties a photo tour to Zillow. The one exception is Zillow Showcase: Aryeo is the only uploader for Showcase listings, so if an agent is buying Showcase you deliver it through Aryeo, and leaving means keeping at least a Lite account or handing that piece to someone who hasn't left. Your ordinary branded and unbranded tour links have no such dependency.
